Boris Pasternak said: "A book is a piece of burning conscience." We are a group of Russian-speaking and English-speaking citizens who have set ourselves the goal to of acquainting the ordinary public who are native Russian or English speakers - in the original and/or in English translation - with the works of Russian poets which fall within Pasternak’s definition.
And, of course, we are re-telling stories of the life and creative path of the most famous Russian poets of the 19th and 20th centuries. We accompany our talks with illustrations, readings of poems in the original and in translation, and sometimes with musical works inspired by these poems.
